DIY Friendly – Build Your Own Floating Dock

Whether you're working with treated lumber or using Patriot Docks frames, these floats are ideal for custom builds. The flat, flange-style mount allows easy installation—just use carriage bolts through your frame and into the float flange (hardware not included). Compared to barrel or drum-style flotation, this design is more secure, more space-efficient, and easier to handle.

For typical setups, we recommend at least two floats per 8FT dock section, though additional floats may be added for extra stability or weight support.
